These bottles are specifically designed to carry fuel when you are outdoor like camping, backpacking, hiking, etc. It has extra enforcement of metal sheet to protect any damage to the container, which is ideal for dirt biker since you have a lot of possibilities of contact with wood, surface, etc The next thing you need is a saddle bag to securely hold your bottles. You need a bag which can hold two to four bottles and hold some other essential things. The best saddle bag I have seen is the Wolfman Day Tripper dirt bike saddlebags on Amazon.com. It is well made and it holds the bottle well and can securely place in the tail end of the bike. It's worth the money you spend on this. This option is the best option I recommend since the gas is stored in the secured MSR bottles designed specifically for this purpose and you have multiple bottles stored in the saddle which is tied away from your body. Fuel Bottles in a Holster: If you are budget conscious and already you don’t have a saddlebag the cheapest option is to get a holster for the MSR bottles. The holster on Amazon.com is the one I have tried earlier and it's good for its price and secured holds the MSR bottles. I have few riders holds the fuel under the handlebar sideways. It’s a nice spot to have. The only thing you need to aware of is your separate holster for each bottle and also you need to find a place to hold the bottle if you want more than one. This option is the second safe solution as it holds the fuel in the MSR bottle and its away from your body. Replacing Your Tank With High Capacity Gas Tank: Most gas tanks are 2 gallons or less storage capacity. This is specifically designed to keep the weight of the bike down. If you are a endure dirt bike riders or want to increase your riding time more you can replace the existing tank with a larger gas tank of over 4 gallons in size.
